Les images de la bande-annonce du film "Oppenheimer" avec Cillian Murphy. First look at star studded cast as they try not to blow up the world in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated Oppenheimer movie. The three minute trailer is packed full of A-list stars alongside Cillian Murphy, including Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jnr, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh and Kenneth Branagh. Nolan's telling of the creation of the atomic bomb under J. Robert Oppenheimer - and the secret operation that facilitated those terrifying scientific advances - appears to focus on the Los Alamos Laboratory and the purpose-built community supporting the work of the US military and scientists. Alongside a lot of Matt Damon - as Manhattan Project director Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves- yelling in an officer's uniform, fans also get to see a dismayed Emily Blunt, a distraught Florence Pugh, a black-and-white Robert Downey Jr. The trailer also sees General Leslie Groves Jr asks the question that’s on everyone’s minds: “Are we saying there’s a chance that when we push that button we destroy the world?” Cillian Murphy, who plays the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ Oppenheimer, confidently responds that the chances are ‘near zero’. The dialogue exchange sums up the tense dynamic of the film, which centers around Murphy and Damon leading the real-life Manhattan Project to develop the first atomic bomb in a race against the Nazi Germans, who have an 18-month head start on the US. To accomplish that goal, they gather an elite team of scientists and their families, including Blunt as Oppenheimer’s wife, Katherine ‘Kitty’ Oppenheimer. Watch the trailer below. Nolan also appears to have stuck with his love for practical effects for Oppenheimer, visually recreating a nuclear explosion for the film with visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson. He also wrote and directed the movie, which is based on Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s 2005 Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer opens in theaters on July 21, 2023.
